CLAUDIO LOLLI'S SOCIAL POETRY
From an idea of Massimo Recalcati and Paolo Capodacqua
The Civil Poetry of Claudio Lolli stems from a meeting between Massimo Recalcati and Paolo Capodacqua, friend and long-time guitarist of Claudio Lolli, singer-songwriter and poet from Bologna who died in 2018. The meeting sought to analyse his poetics and to reflect on his contribution to the cultural debate in the political and social landscape of our country.
The event organised in partnership with the MAST Foundation will feature the participation of Fulvio Abbate, Alberto Bertoni, Gianni D'Elia, Lucrezia Lerro, Luigi Manconi, Rosella Postorino, Massimo Recalcati and musical interludes by Paolo Capodacqua and Nicola Alesini: wide-ranging evidence of how Lolli's contribution is still current and cross-cutting. Some scenes from the documentary Claudio Lolli: Salvarsi la Vita con la Musica (Claudio Lolli: Save Your Life with Music) by Salvo Manzone will also be shown.
